【Goal】In the basic system, the sample game starts from the title screen. Instead, we’ll be changing the settings to start the game in front of the professor (who is in “Sample Map A“).
[1] First of all, open up the “Map Selection” window 
and click “1: Sample Map A“.
[2] Switch to “Event Layer” by clicking the “|Ev|” icon

[3] Right-click any space in front of the professor (near the top left under the striped tent) and select “Set Game Start Position“.
[4] If a window appears saying “Register Destination”, don’t change anything and just click “OK“.
[5] Now go test play 
and you’ll see that your character will start from the new position.
Hooray! You’ve successfully set the start position of the game.
[Side Note] How to reset the starting point (start at Title Screen)
Change the map to “0:Title“, right-click anywhere and select “Set Game Start Position”. The rest is the same as before.
Regarding the event in the “Title” map of the sample game, it will activate wherever the main character is. (The event will run automatically.)
