【Goal】To remove/replace the sample game data in order to have a blank start. The explanation will proceed assuming that you can perform basic operations such as “copy file“, “move“, and “delete“.
◆ If you want to use only the basic system –> Go to section A
◆ If you do not need the basic system –> Go to section B
For section A, the process involves replacing the initial data (sample game) while keeping only the basic system.
[A1] First, if you currently have the Wolf RPG Editor system open, please close it.
[A2] Move the “Data” folder from the “WOLF_RPG_Editor” folder to the “Data collection” folder.
◆ If you don’t need the current data, you can delete the entire “Data” folder.
[A3] Next, in the “Data collection” folder, open “[Empty data (Basic System)]”.
[A4] Since there is only one “Data” folder inside, “copy” it.
[A5] Once again, go back to the folder that contains “Game.exe” etc. –> Paste the “Data” folder from part [A4] here.
[A6] Finally, the original “Data” folder has been replaced/removed. (If you can see that the original file was changed, then you have successfully completed all of the steps.)
[A7] Now, when you run the Editor, it should only retain the Basic System and minimal images. All in all, you can start creating a new game.
Thank you for your hard work and good luck your new RPG!
For section B, the process involves removing the initial data (sample game) along with the Basic System for making games completely from scratch.
[B1] First, if you currently have the Wolf RPG Editor system open, please close it.
[B2] Move the “Data” folder from the “WOLF_RPG_Editor” folder to the “Data collection” folder.
◆ If you don’t need the current data, you can delete the entire “Data” folder.
[B3] Next, in the “Data Collection” folder, open “(Complete Initial State Data)”.
[B4] Since there is only one “Data” folder inside, “copy” it.
[B5] Once again, go back to the folder that contains “Game.exe” etc. –> Paste the “Data” folder from part [B4] here.
[B6] Finally, the original “Data” folder has been replaced/removed. (If you can see that the original file was changed, then you have successfully completed all of the steps.)
[B7] Now, when you run the Editor, it will only include minimal images necessary for operation. All in all, you can start creating a new game from scratch.
Thank you for your hard work and good luck your new, creative RPG!
