Current Priorities

Hey everyone!

I want to thank all of the people who have commented on this website because it helps me figure out which tutorials I should focus on. As of right now, I’m prioritizing the “Designing Maps” module and “Common Errors/Glitches” module as requested by my followers.

Here’s the list of the tutorials I’m currently translating:

  1. How to make map chip materials
  2. Converting external materials to use in WRPGE
  3. Setting music for the map
  4. Using personal fonts for the game

Below are tutorials I plan to do eventually:

  1. Using BGM and sound effects
  2. Waiting/Timer for events
  3. Changing the color of the words in a message
  4. Events activated by confirm keys / player touch / party touch
  5. Events that only happen once then disappear forever
  6. Events activated upon entering a map
  7. Events that work in parallel to ordinary events
  8. Extending the range of an event
  9. Events that restore when moving back into the map

As I’ve mentioned before, I really want to post tutorial videos to youtube, but I don’t really know how to record on a pc, so if anyone knows a free or budget-friendly way to do that, please tell me.

Best regards,

Enna

Required Knowledge Completion!

AWWWWWWW YEAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!

I finally completed the tutorial set for required knowledge only to see that the latest Wolf RPG Editor engine is version 2.24z ?! I think the new version isn’t very different from my version, but if necessary, I will update all of the tutorials to match up. It shouldn’t be too much of a problem considering that I’ve been translating from the Perfect Guide (which is practically based on the oldest version of the Editor). Oh right, I forgot to mention this, but watching tutorial videos from other RPG maker engines is surprisingly helpful; That is probably because all RPG maker engines follow a similar format.

In case you think that Wolf RPG Editor is simply not a good engine, may I remind you that this “free engine” gave birth to major games like Mad Father, The Crooked Man, Misao, Alicemare, and so much more. With this in mind, I’ll be supporting your efforts in adding on to RPGmaker fandom.

Best regards,

Enna

I’m Alive

Guess what?

I’m back and ready to translate more tutorials for the world! Don’t worry guys, I’m planning to finish the last few tutorials for the Required Knowledge, and then I’ll be working on Basic Settings or Creating Events. IDK, it depends on what you guys want, so if you need a specific tutorial that I haven’t translated yet then please email me or leave a comment.

Other than that, I’ll eventually get around to posting actual video tutorials on Youtube as soon as I download a screen recording app. I’ll talk more about that in another post.

Best regards,

Enna

Quick Note:

Hey everyone 😀

I hope the Wolf RPG Editor tutorials have been helpful. Lately, I’ve been working on them during my free time and have translated almost all of the “Required Knowledge” tutorials. Since school just started, I won’t be posting any more tutorials until I’ve adjusted to my schedule. Even so, I am open to suggestions for new tutorials and will answer questions.

Best regards,

Enna
