【Goal】When creating a map, you may want to shift the entire map. For example, if your map was off by a few tiles, you could just shift it back into position.
[1] Open the “Dungeon Map.”
Click on the “Map Select” icon
and choose the “3: Dungeon” map.
Let’s try to shift this map up a little.
It’s easier to explain shifting if you can see the entire map, so find “Map Zoom.”
[2] Time to use the strange technique~
Now try pressing the arrows keys while holding down the [CTRL] and [SHIFT] keys.
The map will shift each time you press the arrow keys.
If you shift a lot in one direction, part of the map will disappear on one side and appear on the opposite side.
[3] Let’s shift some more.
Just like before, hold down the [CTRL] and [SHIFT] keys and then press any arrow key. You can see a part of the map protruding from the opposite direction of the arrow key.
If you press the up arrow key a lot, the map will shift upwards a lot and vice versa.
By the way, if the map already has an event with a large “contact” range, that range will not transfer to the other side after shifting the map; it may end up being smaller after shifting.
